Description
In 2023, the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) ran over the summer, experiencing numerous failures due to high temperatures. In response, a new temperature monitoring page was created, showing temperatures around the complex while also giving direct access to a desired temperature log by webpage. This tool has markedly simplified the early moments of investigation into temperature alarms for Main Control Room (MCR) operators. This presentation gives an overview of what the page includes, its uses and limitations, as well as the challenges being encountered during the upgrade to the Electron Ion Collider (EIC).
