From Aomori Airport (AOJ) to Hotel Aomori

By Shuttle Service (NearMe)

  • NearMe is officially available as an airport shuttle service at Aomori Airport. You can reserve a shared van (~4,000 JPY) or a private (chartered) van (~5,000 JPY) online in advance.
    This service is recommended for participants who prefer to make a reservation after confirming their arrival flight at Aomori Airport (AOJ).
  • Approximately 35 minutes.

By Taxi

  • Approximately 35 minutes.
  • Flat-rate taxis (4,500 JPY) are available between Aomori Airport and hotels in Aomori City. Advance reservation is required, and reservations may be handled in Japanese only.
  •  
    If you prefer not to make a reservation, taxis are readily available at the airport taxi rank. The price is approximately 6000 JPY.

By Bus

  • Take the Airport Limousine Bus bound for Aomori Station (approx. 35 minutes).
    Fare: 980 JPY

  • From Aomori Station, go to East Exit Bus Stops No. 2 or No. 3,
    take a local bus and get off at “Bunka Kaikan-mae (Cultural Hall)”.
    The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
  • Note: Bus announcements and destination signs in Aomori are available in Japanese only, so please confirm the bus stop name “Bunka Kaikan-mae” with the driver when boarding.

 

From Shin-Aomori Station to Hotel Aomori

By Taxi

  • Approx. 30 minutes from the East or South Exit taxi stands.
  • Estimated fare: 2,600 JPY (≈ 20 USD / 15 EUR).

By Bus

  • From the South Exit Bus Stop No. 1, take a bus toward the city center / eastern area.
  • Get off at Bunka Kaikan-mae, then walk 3 minutes to Hotel Aomori.
  • Note: Bus announcements and destination signs in Aomori are available in Japanese only, so please confirm the bus stop name “Bunka Kaikan-mae” with the driver when boarding.

By Train

  • Take the Ōu Main Line from Shin-Aomori Station to Aomori Station.
  • From Aomori Station East Exit, board a bus at Stops No. 2 or No. 3.
    Get off at Bunka Kaikan-mae, then walk 3 minutes to the hotel.
