Description

Electronic devices are a fundamental component of many accelerator subsystems. In some cases, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment does not fully comply with system requirements, making it necessary to develop and build custom electronics. Long-term maintainability, including preventive and corrective maintenance, system updates, and technical support, relies on effective hardware versioning, library management, documentation, and device tracking. This work presents the current status and future plans for electronic device management within the Electronic Instrumentation Group at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS, CNPEM).
